We are seeking a passionate and accomplished Lead Practitioner in English to join our dedicated teaching team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in raising standards, developing best practice, and supporting both students and staff in achieving excellence across the curriculum.

About the Role:

As a Lead Practitioner, you will model exceptional teaching practice and provide guidance across the school. You will support staff development through mentoring, coaching, lesson observation, and professional development planning. You will contribute to curriculum and assessment design, promote adaptive teaching strategies, and uphold a high-quality learning experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

* Model outstanding teaching and share best practice with colleagues
* Support teacher development through coaching, mentoring, and feedback
* Contribute to curriculum and assessment planning
* Advise on subject-specific pedagogy grounded in current educational research
* Deliver and help plan impactful CPD within the department
* Mentor trainee teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
* Createa positive, inclusive classroom climate
* Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders
