At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier! We’re looking for a Head of Service to join our Gloji | Smokefree City & Hackney service.
Gloji | Smokefree City & Hackney are the specialist community-based stop smoking service helping smokers to quit, through both face-to-face and remote methods. The service is tailored to the needs of our diverse populations and prioritises delivery of evidence-based support to high prevalence communities and high-risk groups.
You will lead our talented team to deliver exceptional programmes and to develop vibrant, effective partnerships. You will hold full responsibility for delivering agreed contractual targets, improving the standards of service for our customers, providing our teams with an exceptional employee experience and for developing long lasting relationships with a range of stakeholders and commissioners.

A typical day as a Head of Servicemight include:
o Leading your team to maintain the ethos and success of Thrive Tribe by managing relationships within your team, stakeholders, commissioners and clients in line with the organisation’s culture and values.
o Delivering exceptional operational guidance to your team, ensuring the service is run effectively, safely and with quality at its core.
o Overseeing and delivering on contractual requirements ensuring the service performance levels remain high and consistent.
o Representing GlojiSmokefree City & Hackney at a systems wide level.
o Producing and ensuring that all reporting and performance reporting exceeds expectations and is provided to commissioners on time.
o Ensure the service is meeting the needs of key priority groups and engaging with those populations to co-design our various service offerings
o Working with our employee experience team to grow our great culture, engagement and moments that matter for our people.
o Contributing to the success of Thrive Tribe by working with colleagues across all of our services on new projects and service developments – we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources!
About you...
To work with us in this role you will need to be a people person who thrives on coaching and developing a team, brings energy and enthusiasm to your role and is driven to meet targets with previous experience of full P&L responsibility across multiple borough contracts.
* Experience of leading a healthy lifestyle service or project
* People management experience and strong inter personal skills
* A proven ability to engage with senior commissioners and wider system partners.
* Strong reporting and KPI management skills including leading contract reviews
* Experience of co-designing services / projects alongside service users
* Ability to take full responsibility for the P&L of the contract
* Availability to attend in-person meetings and events across City & Hackney

Contract:Permanent, Full-time
Salary:Starting at£45,000per year

Applicants will be contacted to outline the next stages of the process. Interviews are likely to take place on W/C June 23rdand will be in-person in Hackney.
Location:This job is a hybrid remote role based in the London Borough of Hackney, with regular travel and presence required across the City of London and the London Borough of Hackney & occasional requirements to attend Thrive Tribe HQ which also happens to be in Hackney.
