Robertson Bell is seeking an experienced accountant with significant VAT experience to join a unique organisation on a six-month interim contract. In this role, you will be responsible for:Preparing and filing UK and international VAT returns to strict deadlines
* Providing VAT expertise and advice on new product launches and registrations
* Reviewing financial data and returns to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Responding promptly to ad-hoc VAT/tax queries from the wider business
The ideal candidate will have:
* Significant recent experience in a VAT/tax specialist role, ideally with exposure to international tax compliance
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with finance and non-finance stakeholders
* Proactive approach and ability to work independently
This exciting contract is offered with a hybrid working pattern, the successful candidate will be expected to be in the Central London office at least once per week.
