Job Title: Fire Contracts Manager
Location: Office-based with nationwide site travel
Salary: £70,000–£75,000 (DOE)

A well-established UK contractor is seeking an experienced Fire Contracts Manager to oversee and manage multiple active contracts, as well as support the mobilisation of new projects across the country. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards and industry regulations.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will manage teams across various fire protection projects, ensuring all works meet compliance requirements and agreed programmes. You will act as the main point of communication between internal directors, site teams, and clients—providing regular reporting, updates, and performance insight.
This position is predominantly office-based, with regular site attendance as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day management of fire protection contracts, including fire stopping and fire door installation projects.
* Lead, motivate, and coordinate site teams to ensure delivery of high-quality work within specified timescales.
* Provide comprehensive reports and project updates to company directors.
* Maintain strong communication with clients, conducting progress meetings and addressing project queries.
* Ensure all works comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Support the development and implementation of operational procedures and project programmes.
* Represent the business with a professional, client-focused approach.
Requirements
* Strong knowledge of fire stopping and fire door installation.
* Carpentry background preferred; trade-based experience highly desirable.
* Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
* Confident leading meetings and presenting project updates.
* Competent IT skills and the ability to produce clear reports.
* Demonstrated experience delivering programmes to time and quality standards.
* Smart, professional appearance.
* Strong team management and motivation skills.
* Willingness to work both in the office and on sites nationwide.
