Responsibilities
* Support the Store Manager in managing and inspiring the team to be at their best, stepping up to cover the store when needed.
* Create an atmosphere where delivering amazing service, achieving performance targets, and accurate stock processes are the core of everything you do – in a commercial, operationally efficient, and safe environment.
* Demonstate a hands‑on approach for all operational and commercial activities by working alongside the team.
* Ensure communication is up‑to‑date and accurate at all times to meet business needs.
* Create a great working atmosphere and team spirit by being passionate about customers, people, and products.
* Adapt quickly to change and successfully bring the rest of the team on board with new objectives.
* Communicate effectively with all levels, staying calm and approachable even under pressure.
* Confidently solve problems, make sound business decisions, challenge processes, and generate innovative ideas to move the business forward.
* Lead and coach a high‑performing team, effectively dealing with people issues.
Qualifications
* Exceptional commercial understanding and the know‑how to create a fantastic shopping experience for customers.
* Experience in leading and coaching a high‑performing team.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills – able to plan, organise, and prioritise workload.
* In accordance with Home Office guidance, successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencement of employment.
* This role is not typically considered for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route; candidates should ensure they have the right to work independently.
