Division info:
The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.
Summary of position:
The ME - CNC Programmer will develop and maintain CNC programs and documentation using Catia to produce components in accordance with engineering drawings, ODS sheets, and specifications.
Main responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to optimize manufacturing methods and fixturing.
• Investigate tooling requirements and oversee initial tooling purchases.
• Analyze and resolve manufacturing issues, implementing corrective actions and follow-ups.
• Perform blueprint reading and prepare solid models or geometry for tool path generation.
• Select appropriate cutting tools and plan machining processes.
• Program and verify tool paths using Vericut software.
• Create and issue comprehensive program packages, including tool lists, setup sheets, and measurement tool lists.
• Conduct tape proving on machines and handle program conversions for different machining centers.
• Manage program change requests, revision updates, and rework schemes.
• Organize and maintain returned program packages.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and test new tools.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• In-depth knowledge of AS0 and its relevance to position requirements.
• Strong task orientation with exceptional technical accuracy.

• Must pass Controlled Goods Program background screening.
