Temporary Savings Administrator – 4 Day Week | Hybrid Opportunity | Immediate Start A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Savings Administrator to join a purpose-driven financial organisation for an initial 3-month assignment, with the potential to extend. This is an ideal role for an organised and detail-focused Temporary Savings Administrator who enjoys structured processes, working within a supportive team, and contributing to an organisation that focuses on making a positive impact. About the role This Temporary Savings Administrator role sits within a close-knit savings team responsible for delivering accurate and compliant administration across customer accounts. Initially the role will focus heavily on administration, with the opportunity to expand into customer interaction once fully trained. Key responsibilities include: Processing savings account administration accurately and efficiently Opening and updating customer accounts Handling customer enquiries via email and post Processing transfers and movement of funds between accounts Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory procedures Following clearly defined banking processes and compliance standards Supporting colleagues within a collaborative savings administration team Speaking with customers via telephone once fully trained The role will begin with 90–100% administrative duties, ensuring strong understanding of internal processes before expanding responsibilities. Working pattern: 32 hours per week 4 days per week Typical hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm (30 min lunch) or 8:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch) Initial training will be office-based, with the possibility of 1 day per week working from home once established. What we are looking for The ideal Temporary Savings Administrator will bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to follow structured processes. Key skills and experience: Previous administration experience within a professional environment Experience within financial services or a regulated environment highly desirable AML (Anti-Money Laundering) knowledge would be a strong advantage Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable following clear processes and compliance procedures Strong organisation and prioritisation skills Confident communicator who can work with colleagues and customers Able to work independently while also contributing to a team Comfortable meeting targets and maintaining productivity A positive attitude, willingness to learn and the ability to maintain focus during detailed administrative work will be key to success.
