Join to apply for the Talent & Culture Coordinator role at Cabot Highlands.

Located in Inverness, Scotland, Cabot Highlands is a 420-acre property featuring notable golf amenities and natural beauty. The town of Inverness is nearby with cultural experiences and dining options.


Position overview

Fixed term contract – Maternity cover – Initially for 9 months. This full-time Maternity cover position is an integral part of the Cabot Highlands team. Key core competencies

* Attention to detailed record keeping
* Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
* Professionalism with confidentiality and discretion at all times
* Positive can-do attitude and solid work ethic
* Technically proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Excel
* Experience in generalist HR activities would be advantageous


Core accountabilities

* Assist and support the Talent & Culture department lead in day-to-day activities
* Report monthly payroll information to Finance
* Support or lead onboarding and induction activities
* Assist in planning and delivering employee events
* Support or lead recruitment functions: posting roles, screening resumes, contacting applicants, and scheduling interviews
* Respond to emails and enquiries promptly
* Electronic filing, recording, and maintenance of employee lifecycle data
* Draft employment offers, contracts and recruitment communications
* Assist or lead in conducting background checks
* Stay current with employment legislation updates
* Commit to CPD and promote CPD among peers


Qualifications, skills & experience

* Experience in internal/external customer-facing roles is valuable
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or cloud-based solutions
* High standard of literacy and numeracy
* HR experience is preferred but not essential
* CIPD or working toward it is advantageous but not essential; transferrable experience will be considered
