Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Provide clinical services to alcohol and drug users in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
Conduct general health assessments, screening, community detoxification, medication titration, and relapse prevention plans.
Assess and recommend service users for detoxification, whether community-based or inpatient.
Develop and implement clinically safe and effective detoxification plans tailored to individual needs.
Maintain accurate records of consultations and professional contacts.
Undertake brief interventions and risk assessments, as well as wound care assessments and basic dressing.
Administer vaccinations and ensure the safety of service users and the community.
Collaborate with partner agencies to deliver quality services and achieve positive outcomes.
Participate in multi-disciplinary case reviews for complex service users.
Qualifications:
Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree in Nursing or Advanced Clinical Practitioner.
Current registration with either NMC or GPHC.
Supplementary/independent non-medical prescribing qualification.
Experience & Knowledge:
Experience in working with substance misuse users.
Familiarity with harm reduction practices and clinical management of detoxification.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, including safeguarding vulnerable adults and children.

Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
