Since 2005, VEJA has been creating sneakers in a different way, mixing social projects, economic justice, and ecological materials.


VEJA uses Brazilian and Peruvian organic cotton for the canvas and laces, Amazonian rubber for the soles, and various innovative materials conceived in recycled plastic bottles or recycled polyester.


VEJA sneakers are produced in high-standard factories in Brazil. Part of VEJA’s logistics is managed by Log’ins, a professional and social inclusion company.


The Lead Sales Associate plays a strategic role within the sales team. As the main point of reference on the shop floor, you are responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the team, ensuring outstanding customer service and the correct application of store rules and procedures. You act as the key relay, particularly in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.


Sales Leadership:

* Lead by example in customer service: Deliver a high-quality welcome, remain available and attentive, and provide service and advice to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Develop in-depth product knowledge: Build strong knowledge of VEJA products and the VEJA project to offer informed and relevant advice.


Team Supervision:

* Shop floor reference: Act as a leader and key point of reference within the sales team, serving as a go-to person on the floor.
* Manager relay: Act as the main link between head office and the store when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are not present, ensuring clear communication of guidelines.
* Decision communication: Clearly communicate decisions made by the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to the team.
* Compliance with rules: Ensure that all team members understand and respect retail rules and procedures.
* Daily briefings: Lead daily team briefings to maintain strong team dynamics and coordination.
* Onboarding new team members: Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in welcoming and training new team members.


Processes:

* Mastery of communication tools: Use tools such as Teams and Outlook effectively to ensure smooth communication between departments.
* Mastery of management systems: Use internal management tools (GK, GK Back Office, SAP) independently and accurately to manage sales, stock, and other business-related processes.


Required Skills:

* Leading by example: Be a role model for the team in both behavior and performance.
* Proactive mindset: Take initiative to improve store organization and performance.
* Strong coordination and internal communication skills: Ensure smooth information flow between all stakeholders (Store Manager, Assistant Manager, team, head office).
* Curiosity: Stay informed about new products and company projects to remain up to date and suggest improvements.
