Job Description:
As Business Development Lead, you will be expected to conduct yourself with professionalism and demonstrate strong leadership.
Your main focus will be Business Development for the client and supporting the internal team. This includes leading by example, motivating staff, and helping them develop their potential.
As a Subject Matter Expert in climate change and sustainability, you will lead in developing and maximizing the contract and consultancy experience for our clients. You will also oversee projects, supervise consultants, and actively seek business opportunities to support organizational growth.
Responsibilities
Business Development
* Proactively identify opportunities and develop strategies for business growth.
* Lead in writing bids, developing proposals, and responding to tenders.
* Engage with clients, potential clients, and partners actively.
* Promote the business through social media channels like LinkedIn.
* Develop and present case studies and lessons learned from projects.
* Contact subcontractors and clients to identify further opportunities.
* Manage large client accounts and report to senior leadership.
Internal Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with senior staff, clients, and stakeholders.
* Support leadership initiatives and business development activities.
* Represent the company at conferences, events, and exhibitions.
* Manage and supervise technical staff and resources.
* Set strategic direction and oversee implementation.
* Maximize utilization of service stream consultants.
* Manage team workloads, objectives, and performance.
