White Label are very excited to be working with a leading engineering company in Manchester who are looking to expand their team with an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer. The role: To provide Electronic/Hardware engineering support for products, providing solutions to engineering problems, in a timely manner to enable the business to meet its manufacturing programs. Additionally, to support in electrical product design and development in line with strict user specifications. What's in it for you? -Salary up to £40k -4 day working week (Fridays off) -Can buy up to a max of one week for holidays -Flexible hours -Generous pension scheme -Superb culture -Well-being activities -Health care schemes Responsibilities: To diagnose the hardware problems that result in system faults To provide hardware solutions to production, manufacturing, and repair problems To undertake design changes to replace obsolete components To carry out component and system type testing (including EMC testing where appropriate) Prepare and submit technical documentation to support qualification of obsolescent parts To undertake technical investigations, recommending actions and producing reports Liaise with customers both in-person and virtual To provide technical support to the design and development of new equipment Provide support to the Test Department when required Ensure that the Company Health and Safety policy is reflected in all actions Role requirements: Degree in Engineering Discipline (Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred) or completed a relevant apprenticeship with experience Experience of analogue and digital electronic design PCB Design 3D CAD Desired experience: Experience of the Defence Industry or an equivalent safety critical industry Please apply if you feel you meet the requirments and are interested
