Driver Hire Congleton are looking for experienced Warehouse Operatives to join an established production company based in Congleton, Cheshire. The hours of work are 8am – 4pm, working Monday to Friday.
Job outline
1. Responsible for the picking, packing and distribution of customer orders.
2. Receiving and handling large stock deliveries from manufacturers- heavy lifting and sorting.
3. Counting and organising units and checking these in to the warehouse.
4. Conducting stock counts.
5. Responsible for putting away large deliveries of packaging.
6. Liaising with the team to ensure that the warehouse is well organised and tidy at all times.
7. Always be very aware of any packages coming in and out of the warehouse.
The ideal candidate will be:
8. Comfortable with physically demanding work in a a busy warehouse environment.
9. Computer literate and competent with picking from paper pick sheets.
10. Willing to be flexible on hours of work. The standard shift is 8am – 4pm, however you will be working in a small team and the scheduled packing for the day must be completed before the shift can end.
11. Able to accurately and swiftly fulfil orders following a paper based pick sheet process.
Please note that this is a temporary position. This role is due to start from Monday 29th September 2025 and to last for approx. 4 to 6 weeks (depending on customer needs).
