Job Description
· Develop and execute sales strategies focused on private label dairy, continental meats, and cheese to maximise market penetration and revenue growth· Strengthen existing relationships with vetted suppliers, ensuring high product quality and timely delivery· Identify, approach, and onboard new suppliers that align with commitment to quality and innovation· Collaborate cross functionally to develop compelling product ranges tailored to retailer requirements· Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences to inform sales tactics and product development
The Successful Applicant
A successful Private Label Sales Lead will have:· Proven sales track record in private label offering and development across the UK retailer landscape· Exposure of the dairy market, including emerging trends, key players, and supply chain considerations - preference· Strong existing network of supplier and retailer contacts within the UK and European markets· Ability to negotiate and establish beneficial supplier agreements· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to present to senior stakeholders.· Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
