The main purpose of this role is to provide home care services (e.g. assistance with activities of daily living) to our Service Users, ensuring that they live independent and normal lives in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Assisting Service Users with activities of daily living, including medication administration, foot care, positioning and transferring, bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, mobility support, grooming, errands, shopping and groceries, visiting the GP, and visiting loved ones.
* Ensuring all tasks undertaken during a visit are accurately recorded.
* Ensuring Service Users’ confidentiality is maintained at all times.
* Assisting the Registered Manager with conducting risk assessments and routine spot checks where required.
* Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure all Service Users\' needs are met.
* Any other duties as assigned by the Registered Manager.
Other Duties
* To comply with TSF Healthcare Solutions\' Health and Safety and other policies and procedures, following designed Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and report any incidents or near misses using the organisation’s Incident Reporting System.
* To actively support TSF Healthcare Solutions’ commitment to equality and diversity.
* To safeguard and promote the welfare of all Service Users.
Qualifications
* The post holder must hold a relevant qualification (e.g. Care Certificate) or have relevant work experience in a home care setting or environment.
* Any other Care related Certificates (e.g. Moving and Handling; Medication Administration etc) will be an added advantage.
* Full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
* Must be willing to undergo training and continuous professional development as required by the needs of the service.
