Main duties
Developing a Universal, Targeted Specialist model in mainstream schools, delivering EHCP interventions, and expanding buy-in services.
You will assess and treat children with speech, language, and communication needs, report writing, and training opportunities. There are roles within special schools and provisions, working with children with complex needs, including Autism, Learning Difficulties, and Speech Disorders. Your preferences will be considered in re-timetabling.

Job responsibilities
The post holder will safeguard vulnerable groups and provide speech and language therapy, including assessment, differential diagnosis, complex communication, and collaboration with families and professionals. Training in alternative communication methods will be provided.

Qualifications
* Recognised speech & language therapy degree or equivalent
* Health Professions Council Licence
* Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists membership
* CPD evidence

* Caseload management responsibility

Disclosure
This role requires a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.
Salary: £35,763 to £43,466 per annum, including HCAS.
