This is a permanent post, 37 hours per week, with the following shifts:
* Monday: 08:00 to 20:00 / 30-minute lunch
* Wednesday: 08:30 to 17:00 / 30-minute lunch
* Thursday: 08:30 to 17:00 / 30-minute lunch
* Friday: 08:30 to 16:30 / 30-minute lunch
* Alternate Saturday: 09:00 to 13:00
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for sponsorship, and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is unable to provide Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS).
The main responsibilities include supporting effective clinical care by providing efficient Health Records services, ensuring accurate administration of patient appointments, and maintaining confidentiality and security of health records. The role also involves delivering administrative, clerical, and receptionist services, maintaining electronic and paper-based patient records, and updating patient demographic data.
Essential qualifications and experience include:
* National 4 or Level 1 qualification in three subjects, including English, or equivalent
* General administration and office experience or clerical experience (desirable)
* Computer literacy with good keyboard skills
* Reception experience (desirable)
* Experience with Patient Management Systems (training provided if necessary)
The initial base will be Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. This is a GGC-wide post.
