What will the Accounts Senior role involve?
Leading the preparation of financial statements and management accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Managing bookkeeping and VAT affairs, including timely submission of VAT returns, and overseeing tax computations for individual and SME clients.
Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing high-quality financial advice and support.
Assisting with compliance and ensuring adherence to current financial regulations and best practices.
Supporting junior team members and contributing to continuous process improvement within the department.
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Senior vacancy:
Proven experience in accounting, particularly with SME and individual clients, with a strong understanding of UK accounting standards.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities efficiently.
Strong communication skills and a professional approach, with a desire to develop and progress within the finance sector.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, with a good grasp of VAT, tax computations, and prepare Financial Statements.
