About the Role
The City of Bristol College is looking for an ESOL Learning Assistant to support identified students with learning difficulties and disabilities. The role involves ensuring smooth handover processes at the start and end of each day, maintaining the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable students, and working collaboratively with the Additional Learning Support (ALS) Department and the ESOL curriculum team to create a cohesive support network.
Responsibilities
* Support students identified with learning difficulties and disabilities.
* Ensure smooth handover processes at the beginning and end of each day to maintain safety and wellbeing of vulnerable students in care.
* Collaborate with colleagues within the ALS Department and the ESOL curriculum team.
* Contribute to a culture of high‑quality, trauma‑informed support delivery that is responsive, flexible and aligned with the College’s aspirations.
* Promote an inclusive educational experience that empowers students to thrive.
