Job Description
French speaking bookkeeper:
3. Managing daily bookkeeping tasks across French‑speaking entities
4. Processing invoices, expenses, and payments accurately and on time
5. Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining clean, up‑to‑date ledgers
6. Supporting month‑end activities, including accruals, journals, and reconciliations
7. Liaising with French‑speaking clients, suppliers, and internal teams
8. Assisting with VAT returns and compliance requirements
9. Helping with audit preparation and providing accurate documentation
10. Resolving queries promptly to ensure smooth financial operations
The Successful Applicant
French speaking bookkeeper:
11. Proven experience in a Bookkeeper or Assistant Accountant role
12. Fluent French (written and spoken) - essential
13. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
14. Confidence handling reconciliations, ledgers, and transactional finance tasks
15. Good working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
16. Ability to communicate professionally with stakeholders in French and English
17. A proactive, reliable, and self‑motivated approach
