The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a variety of educational needs, both in and out of the classroom. Your duties may include:
* Providing 1:1 or small group support to students with SEND or additional learning needs
* Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
* Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
* Supporting students with emotional regulation, concentration, and behaviour management
* Adapting resources to meet individual learning styles and needs
* Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families

What We’re Looking For:
We welcome candidates from all backgrounds – whether you're an experienced LSA, a recent graduate considering a career in education, or someone with relevant experience in youth work, psychology, sports coaching, or care.
Essential Attributes:
* A genuine passion for working with young people
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, resilience, and a caring nature
* Willingness to support students with a range of learning and behavioural needs
Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience working with children or young people
* Knowledge of SEND strategies (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH)
* A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or a degree in Education, Psychology, or similar)
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
