Responsibilities
* Providing independent assessment of lifecycle design review inputs, entry and exit criteria
* Acting as the independent authority during validation and verification activities
* Owning and closing all product‑related issues internally and externally, including customer concerns
* Revising and updating processes to reduce risk of non‑conformance issues
* Completing quality audits and surveillance activities
* Ensuring effective close‑out of internal and external audit findings
* Performing proactive operational surveillance to promote best practice and minimise quality escapes
* Maintaining all product records to ensure configuration integrity throughout the lifecycle
* Articulating issues, providing constructive feedback, and advocating for quality standards
* Producing and maintaining contracted quality deliverables
* Acting as a conduit between Engineering and Production to ensure assurance on delivered products
* Generating and updating Quality Management Plans
Experience
* Previous experience in a quality‑focused role within a technical environment
* Strong understanding of configuration management principles
* Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis and problem‑solving techniques
* Auditor‑level knowledge of quality management systems
* Excellent communication skills and ability to influence without direct authority
