AramarkUKare currently recruiting for aGeneralServiceAssistant to be a part of our integral team in Taunton, TA1 2DN.
As a General Assistant, you will mainly be working front‑of‑house. You will support day‑to‑day operations by serving food and beverages to our customers, alongside till work, cleaning dining areas and supporting both front and back‑of‑house areas. You will provide excellent customer service and report to the General Manager on site.
You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.

A day in the life of a General Service Assistant
* Service of food and/or beverages to customers to the standards set by Aramark.
* Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.
* Preparation of the service area and/or service points.
* Correct storage of food items and equipment after service.
* Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations always.
* To always present an image conducive to good customer relations.
* Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company's health and safety policy.
* The job description may be altered from time to time to meet the changing needs and requirements of the company.
You will be set up for success if you have:
* High personal standards and attention to detail
* Experience in a similar role is essential
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Working knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP
* Keen interest in developing food preparation skills and culinary knowledge
