This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong industry experience and leadership skills to support branch operations, drive sales, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Branch Manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving branch sales targets
* Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service and operational efficiency
* Assist in managing stock levels, ordering, and inventory control
* Develop strong relationships with trade customers, local contractors, and suppliers
* Contribute to business development through local engagement and customer retention
* Maintain a safe, organised, and professional branch environment
* Step into the Branch Manager role when required
What Were Looking For:
* Experience in the plumbing and heating or wider builders' merchant sector is essential
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Sales-driven mindset with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
* Ability to build rapport with trade customers and maintain long-term relationships
* Organised, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced branch environment
* Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role preferred
