ASA Recruitment’s client, a Public Sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit 20x Data Entry Clerks, onsite in either Hamilton or East Kilbride for initial 3 month contracts (starting 29th June 2026) on a rate of £13.84/hour PAYE to £15.59/hour PAYE (based on experience).
Responsibilities:
* Extract and interpret handwritten data from job tickets, timesheets and stock lists
* Accurately input data into the new repairs system
* Ensure all entries are complete, consistent, and error-free
* Manage high volumes of data within tight deadlines
* Identify and flag unclear or missing information
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company procedures
* Provide general clerical and administrative support as required
Essential Experience:
* Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
* Ability to read and interpret handwritten information accurately
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and data systems
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* Team player with a flexible and proactive approach
Desirable Experience:
* Experience with MRI Housing One would be very advantageous (desirable but not essential)
