Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled scientist specialising in regulatory RNA design. The ideal candidate will have a strong bioinformatics background, deep understanding of RNA structure-function relationships and experience using computational tools for RNA engineering. Wet lab expertise is preferable.
If you are passionate about advancing RNA-based therapeutics and possess the required skills and qualifications listed below, we invite you to join our dynamic team as a scientific consultant.
Key roles:
* Bioinformatics analyses (e.g. GWAS and transcriptomic datasets)
* Integration of computational approaches for analysing, designing and optimising RNA structures/binding kinetics.
* Assisting with experimental design
Requirements
* Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, RNA Biology).
* Proven expertise in RNA structure analysis and design.
* Experience using relevant computational programs e.g. NUPACK, RNAfold, R-CHIE.
* Strong bioinformatics background with proficiency in common programming languages (e.g. Python, R).
* Demonstrated experience validating RNA function in the wet lab, or assisting in experimental design. NB: experience screening RNA libraries would be beneficial.
