Location: Milton Keynes (able to work on a largely remote basis with 2 days per month on-site - this may be more depending on business need)

The business is increasingly understanding the power of data as an asset, but there is still a long way to go. The Data Product Owner will be the bridge between the business and highly skilled tech teams in creating various specialised Products that will help take the business to new levels.
The role is largely remotely based, but you'll need to be able to attend the office in Milton Keynes at least twice a month, but potentially more at peak periods.
The Data Product Owner will be responsible for the following:
Own the product vision and roadmap for specific data products
Work closely with stakeholders to define the product deliverables
Maintain and prioritise the product backlog
Define acceptance criteria
Support design of data structures and dashboards
Ensure the product meets governance standards
Be the first point of contact for all product decisions
Work closely with both technical and business audiences, communicating clearly and effectively in relevant terminology
Act as an advocate for the importance of data and the power it can deliver as a business asset
Monitor product adoption
The successful Data Product Owner will have the following experience:
Experience of managing data products beyond initial launch and transformation - you will have managed the in a BAU environment and acted as a true custodian for their success
Exceptional business facing skills - ability to convey the power of data to non-technical audiences
Experience of Agile or iterative delivery methods
Any experience of insurance, financial services or other regulated industries would be preferred but not essential
Any knowledge of tools including PowerBI, Tableau or Snowflake would be ideal
The salary on offer is up to £77,000 + performance related bonus, excellent pension and a variety of other benefits.
