Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working alongside a fantastic business in the Kirby-in-Ashfield area as they look to recruit a Finance Assistant on a full time basis to cover a period of maternity leave however with the growth of the company there is definite potential for the role to go permanent.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Daily Cash and Bank Reconciliation including transactional posting and administration
* Inter-company account reconciliation
* Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
* Prepare for annual external Audit and answering Auditor queries in a timely manner
* Supporting the team with improving finance reports and processes
* Weekly payroll and credit card expense analysis
* Head office cost control analysis
* Ad-hoc duties assisting finance team as required
* Any other tasks that you may reasonably be required to undertake
Person Specification:
* Currently Studying/Looking to Study AAT
* GCSE English Language and Maths (or equivalent) at a minimum of grade 5
* Previous experience in a financial role/study preferred
* Confident in using Excel
* Confident in building strong relationships
* A professional approach, good communication skills and being highly motivated, ambitious and keen to learn
* An enthusiasm for business and finance
* Good interpersonal and organisational skills
* Diligent and comfortable and experienced in working to meet deadlines
