We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation are maintained at all times. The Head Chef will play a pivotal role in menu development, staff supervision, and maintaining a welcoming environment for both staff and guests.
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient and smooth daily operations
* Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
* Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management that reflect current trends and customer preferences
* Manage food production processes to optimise efficiency while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
* Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to foster professional growth and teamwork
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all kitchen activities
* Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste
* Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in accordance with hygiene standards

* Proven supervising experience within a busy culinary environment
* Extensive food production and preparation skills with a strong focus on quality and presentation
* Excellent team management capabilities with leadership qualities that motivate staff

* Previous experience working in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable

Salary Range - £40,000 to £45,000 DOE - 29 days holiday PA.
Working 4 Days Per Week, with 1 weekend off per month.
