What you'll be doing
11. Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms.
12. Managing stock levels in line with company objectives.
13. Working closely with Sales and Business Managers, sharing market insights.
14. Identifying and onboarding new products and suppliers.
15. Providing accurate and timely pricing for UK and Export teams.
16. Taking ownership of slow-moving or obsolete stock.
Your background
Must have:
17. Previous experience in a buying or supply chain role.
18. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
19. Solid IT skills (Excel, Word, ERP/MRP).
20. Confidence to communicate effectively and work under pressure.
Nice to have:
21. Experience in the chemical or speciality distribution sector.
22. CIPS qualification (or working towards it).
23. A degree in Chemistry, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
