The Role
Reporting to the Technical Manager, you’ll be a responsible for organising and hosting taste panels which will include benchmarking, customer visits and buy back panels. You’ll be ordering the samples and maintaining the taste panel schedule.
You’ll complete store audits to support with customer complaint investigations, write reports on your findings, completing root cause analysis and generate KPI / trend reports. In this role you’ll also contribute to setting up technical systems for the launch of new products.
We are looking for a food graduate who is keen to build on their technical and quality experience gained from food retail or a food manufacturing environment. A thorough working knowledge of BRC and HACCP is essential along with excellent communication, prioritisation and time management skills. You must also be proactive, able to think on your feet and be a great problem solver to consistently delight their customers.
Experience of working in a fast-paced chilled / high care manufacturing environment and understanding the standards of UK retailers is essential. This a role where you must be able to thrive in the energy and pace of the factory, interacting with all departments as well as customers.
