A position has arisen in our busy communications and marketing team to work with our Adult Social Care and Children's services, delivering a breadth of communications needs to stakeholders and residents in North Northamptonshire and beyond. You will play a pivotal role in leading our communications and marketing for the services, handling media relations, campaigns and keeping people up-to-date with the latest news, decisions and policies. You will also work with a wide range of digital communications channels, including social media. Your creativity, pragmatism and flexibility will enable you to handle challenges and present complex information in an easily digestible way for our audiences.

Additionally, you will manage key relationships with stakeholders and provide advice on communications and marketing. The role also requires working closely with partner organisations including the NHS, Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board and the Northamptonshire Children's Trust, and monitoring and evaluating marketing campaigns to ensure efficient delivery while maintaining the council's corporate identity.
Qualifications
You will have solid experience in marketing and communications, and a skill set that includes working with the media, copywriting, digital marketing and social media. You will be a natural communicator who can adapt quickly between communications disciplines and with a variety of stakeholders and partners. You should be pragmatic, flexible and able to deal with challenges, making sense of complex information and communicating it effectively.
