Securitas' Risk Intelligence Center (RIC) delivers actionable intelligence on the global security and threat landscape to support decision making and protect people, property and assets.
The RIC is part of Securitas' Security Risk Management (SRM) unit, an intelligence-led approach to identifying, understanding, monitoring and acting on risks specific to each client. The RIC has positions for Protective Intelligence Analysts and Global Intelligence Analysts. As an Intelligence Analyst, you will support the mission to proactively identify and mitigate security threats through comprehensive analysis and strategic insights.
Global Intelligence Analyst
* Responsible for a regional desk producing high-quality, decision-making intelligence briefs for your region.
* Collection, processing, and analysis of data to support regional intelligence products.
* Shape intelligence outputs and meet stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
* Salary: £30–35K per annum, with £5K shift allowance.
* Shift pattern: 4 on, 4 off (0700–1900, 1900–0700 – days and nights).
* Based in Milton Keynes (in office).
Protective Intelligence Analyst
* Responsible for an industry desk producing high-quality, decision-making intelligence briefs for your industry.
* Collection, processing, and analysis of data to support industry-related intelligence products.
* Shape intelligence outputs and meet stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
* Salary: £30–35K per annum.
* Shift pattern: 4 on, 4 off (0700–1900).
* Based in Milton Keynes (in office).
Essential Requirements
* Live within a 45-minute (door-to-door) commute of the Milton Keynes office.
* 1–2 years of experience in an intelligence or intelligence-related analytical role.
* Strong knowledge of, and genuine interest in, current affairs and the global security threat landscape.
* Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, constructively, and professionally as part of a team.
Job Description (Responsibilities & Focus)
The Intelligence Analyst roles support the delivery of intelligence products and services to Securitas and its customers. The roles require strong research, analytical and report writing skills and proficiency in IT systems including Microsoft Office and intelligence tools. The Global Intelligence Analyst owns an assigned global regional desk, and the Protective Intelligence Analyst owns an assigned industry desk. Responsibilities include collecting, processing, and analysing data to support intelligence production and ensuring timely, accurate dissemination to internal stakeholders and customers. Roles offer opportunities for ongoing development and progression.
The RIC values a balanced skill set, combining technical ability with interpersonal effectiveness, including clear communication and collaborative work across teams and partners.
Both roles report to Team Leads and require flexibility and agility in a dynamic environment. The 4 on, 4 off pattern applies, with the Protective team working days and the Global team including days and nights. The scope may evolve with growth and capability enhancements.
Responsibilities (detailed)
* Deliver end-to-end intelligence briefs, including tasking, collection, processing, analysis, production, and dissemination of intelligence on risks impacting people, property, and assets globally.
* Monitor and identify emerging activity, trends, and indicators posing risk or impacting operations using intelligence tools and structured research.
* Analyse information using recognised intelligence techniques and provide clear, proportionate judgement to support proactive decision-making.
* Produce high-quality intelligence products autonomously or with senior colleagues, including alerts, reports, assessments, investigations, and verbal briefings.
* Disseminate intelligence to internal stakeholders and external customers in the UK and internationally.
* Support continuous improvement through evaluation and feedback, ensuring consistency and quality across outputs.
* Contribute to the development of sources, methods, and approaches and stay aware of innovation and best practice.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the RIC and Securitas, including client-facing teams and global partners; contribute to constructive challenge where appropriate.

Qualifications & Competencies
* Essential
* Right to work in the UK with a five-year checkable employment history or documentary evidence of unemployment gaps.
* Within a 45-minute commute to Milton Keynes or be willing to relocate.
* 1–2 years of experience in intelligence or intelligence-related analytical role.
* Excellent written and spoken English for delivering intelligence reports to diverse audiences.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage professionally in day-to-day collaboration.
* Ability to prioritise, plan, and manage time effectively under pressure.
