Job Details
We have 2 shift patterns available:
* 38.75 hrs per week working 6am - 2.30pm (Mon-Fri)
* 40 hrs per week working 5.30am - 4.15pm (4 shifts over 5 days between Mon-Fri)
Additional hours may be available and occasional weekends may be required.
Location
You will work as part of the friendly team in our production kitchen, based at Rheged in Penrith, responsible for making the pies and sausage rolls famously sold in our sister sites Gloucester, Cairn Lodge, and Tebay Services.
Responsibilities
* Assist in all areas of food production in line with company standards and recipe specifications.
* Help with packaging and labelling.
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including pot washing.
* Support the Stock Controller with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries, ensuring effective stock rotation.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous food production experience is desirable but not essential; we welcome candidates from all backgrounds.
* Comfortable handling and preparing food.
* Ability to stand for long periods, lift, and carry.
* Willingness to assist with cleaning and other tasks as needed.
* Good communication skills and team spirit.
