About the Role
As a Public Health Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in improving the health and well-being of communities across Gloucestershire. Working closely with the Director of Public Health, you will help deliver core public health objectives, including:
* Reducing health inequalities
* Protecting and promoting health
* Enhancing the quality of local health and social care services
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice and leadership on public health priorities
* Support the development and implementation of health improvement programs
* Contribute to emergency planning and health protection measures
* Work collaboratively with local authorities, NHS partners, and community stakeholders
* Use data and evidence to inform decision-making and drive outcomes
