ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Building Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in delivering a wide range of professional and project-based services. From defect diagnosis and technical due diligence to contract administration and refurbishment projects, this role offers variety, autonomy, and clear progression in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out building surveys, schedules of condition, and defect analysis
2. Prepare specifications and manage refurbishment and maintenance projects
3. Administer contracts and monitor works on site
4. Deliver professional advice including dilapidations, party wall, and pre-acquisition surveys
5. Liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and consultants
6. Support junior team members and contribute to business development activities
REQUIREMENTS
7. Degree-qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
8. Ideally MRICS (or working towards chartership)
9. 2–5 years’ experience in a consultancy or client-side role
10. Strong technical knowledge and report writing skills
11. Organised, professional, and confident working both independently and as part of a team
12. A client-focused mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach
13. Full UK driving licence
