Pay Rate: £27,496.46 per year
Grade: RCS O
Contract: Permanent (Full‑time), 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (includes bank holidays)
Shift Pattern: Mon‑Thu 08:00‑17:00; Fri 08:00‑14:30
Location: HM Stocken, near Oakham, LE15 7RD
Security: The role is within a men’s Category C prison and requires enhanced security vetting.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a group of up to 80 prisoners, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Health & Safety, and HMP rules.
* Ensure operational KPIs are met and exceeded, reconciling stock levels against deliveries and pick of each item.
* Drive and support continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance).
* Right to work in the UK with no limits now or in the future (British/Irish nationality, EU Settled Status, or Indefinite Leave to Remain). No sponsorship available.
Preferred
* Comfortable working in a prison environment alongside inmates.
* Understanding of supply chain and logistics (training will be provided).
* Strong communication skills – firm, fair, clear.
* Demonstrated people‑leadership abilities.
