Metalis Recruitment: An opportunity has arisen for a MIG Welder / Fabricator to join a manufacturing company based in Rotherham.
Duties & Responsibilities
Set up, mark, & lay out (fabricate) tack & weld various jobs as instructed
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Measuring, cutting, and fabricating components to precise specifications.
Operating hand tools, grinders, and cutting machinery.
Performing quality checks to ensure all work meets required standards.
Working to deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.The company are looking for a Production Operative who has the following skills and experiences:
Previous experience in MIG welding and fabrication.
Structural Steel background/experience.
Previous Tube/Pipe Welding experience ideal but not essential.
Ability to work confidently from technical drawings.
Knowledge of workshop safety and fabrication techniques.
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.Shifts & Salary:
£16.00ph - Overtime available AFTER probation passed
8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
