Job Description
3. Manage and monitor project budgets to ensure accurate cost tracking and forecasting.
4. Prepare detailed financial reports and variance analyses for stakeholders.
5. Oversee project invoicing and ensure timely billing and collections.
6. Collaborate with project managers to assess financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls.
8. Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
9. Provide financial insights and recommendations to optimise project profitability.
10. Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with auditors as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Accountant should have:
11. Relevant professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
12. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
13. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
14. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
