An opportunity to work on our BAM Nuttall/Keir JV project in Plymouth, spanning over the next 5 years PAYE basis £400 - £440 per day depending on experience/qualifications Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays) Must Have: • Time-served Mechanical engineer or equivalent (e.g., NVQ Level 3) • Must have as a minimum an CSCS Gold Card – Pipefitter, Mechanical Engineer or equivalent • SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme • Strong working knowledge of Mechanical systems and safe isolation practices. • Demonstrable experience supervising Mechanical installation works on construction or industrial projects. • Ability to interpret Mechanical drawings, RAMS, and permit-to-work systems. • Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills. • A proactive safety-focused mindset with the confidence to challenge unsafe work. • Asbestos Awareness • First Aid / Emergency First Aid at Work This role is site based - Monday to Friday 45 hours per week 07:30am - 17:00pm Key Responsibilities: Oversee Mechanical works to ensure compliance with safe systems of work, permits, specifications, and drawings Support the Authorised Person (AP) in maintaining effective Mechanical safety systems Supervise Mechanical operatives and subcontractors, ensuring correct competence, training, and authori...
