Job Description
We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to take ownership of the shipping lifecycle to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer support. The successful candidate will report to our Supply Chain Director and be responsible for tracking and managing orders, coordinating logistics, working well as part of a close knit operations team and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Supply Chain Director in managing shipping movements and optimising logistics processes.
* Work closely with couriers and suppliers to track shipments and resolve distribution challenges.
* Manage the entire shipping lifecycle, ensuring smooth international and domestic logistics.
* Address and resolve issues such as damaged goods, incorrect shipments, or delays with minimal impact on delivery timelines.
* Perform general administrative duties to support operations functions.
* Maintain and update internal systems to support order movements and reporting.
* Organisation of internal returned shipments.
* Respond promptly to customer queries, providing solutions for order issues such as missing items, damage in transit, or order processing errors.
* Assist customers with placing orders, locating invoices, and processing returns and refunds when necessary.
* Ensure all customer interactions and order updates are accurately recorded to maintain a detailed history of communications and actions taken.
* Gain knowledge of our Suppliers and help to maintain healthy relationships with them, assisting where needed with product listing, stock and onboarding queries.
* Work closely with other members of our Operations team, being flexible to assist others where appropriate.

Experience:
* Experience in order processing, logistics, or a related field.
* Proficient in using computerised systems for data entry, order tracking, and record-keeping.
* Prior experience working with couriers and distribution partners is beneficial.
* Knowledge of supply chain operations and domestic logistics is an advantage.
* Previous customer service experience.
