Forklift Driver
Pay Rate: £12.50
Shifts: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
Key Responsibilities
* Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
* Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles and storage areas.
* Move stock to designated areas within the warehouse or yard.
* Ensure all loads are secure and comply with health and safety standards.
* Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance needs.
* Assist with general warehouse duties including stock checks and order picking.
* Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
* Support the team in meeting delivery schedules and customer expectations.
Requirements
* Valid forklift license (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck).
* Previous experience in a warehouse or builders' merchant environment preferred.
* Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
