The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Office Services Assistant to support Blackstone’s London office in Mayfair. The successful candidate will be a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic corporate environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to uphold the highest standards of operational support.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily mailroom operations, including distribution, messenger services, postage reconciliation, and supply stocking.
* Respond to and resolve service requests with professionalism and efficiency, covering areas such as office supplies, messenger runs, conference room setup, and bank runs.
* Maintain supply depots, copy rooms, and shredding stations, ensuring organization, confidentiality, and readiness.
* Provide logistical support for meetings and events, including furniture setup, equipment delivery, and records management.
* Partner with the Facilities Helpdesk to proactively monitor, report, and resolve service needs across HVAC, repairs, janitorial, and related functions.
* Conduct daily walkthroughs and inspections to ensure all office areas reflect Blackstone’s professional standards.
* Support employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing workstations, managing office moves, and coordinating new hire photography.
* Assist with departmental projects and ad hoc requests to support overall business operations.
Experience
* Minimum 2 years of professional experience, ideally within financial services or another high-performing corporate environment.
* Experience in office services, operations, or facilities management preferred.
* Exceptional customer service orientation, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy, discretion, and sound judgment.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract that could lead to a permanent role
£35-40K based on-site in London/Mayfair
