What we expect
As a Field Support Engineer, you will provide support for the lift and escalator products. We are currently seeking a lift expert field engineer with language skills (ideally French or Italian), in addition to technical elevator knowledge. This individual will be in charge of providing support on our TKE EOX lifts, as well as on Otis technology (other brands could be considered).
You will be providing technical support for the commissioning phase for our new EOX lift and expert level support for the maintenance/troubleshooting for it, be the interface with the engineering team if needed for our own brand. You will assist the development of ITS technical publications.
You will provide technical support to field technicians by telephone, video or site visit as well as prepare and performing training on lifts when requested. As well as, undertake training necessary to be at the forefront of industry and technological developments.
Who we are looking for
1. You will have a proven experience working as a field support engineer
2. Excellent communication skills, verbal, telephone, and written
3. You will have language skills, especially in French or Italian
4. Positive attitude, capable of working under pressure as part of a team
5. Confident in using your own initiative and proactive thinking outside of the box
6. An investigative mind-set that approaches issues from all angles, especially for the purpose of identifying workarounds for on-going incidents
