Job Title: Customer Account Coordinator Location: Birkenhead Salary: £15.37 Hours: Monday to Friday- 37 hours per week with an early Friday finish! Duration: Temporary until July 2026About the Role This isn't your typical customer service role. As a Customer Account Coordinator, you'll be the key link between our customers and our operations team, managing complex orders, driving on-time delivery, and ensuring every commitment is met. You'll work closely with Production Planning, Material Planning, and Business Managers to keep projects on track, resolve queries, and deliver exceptional service to some of our most important clients. What You'll Be Doing Own the customer relationship for your accounts, acting as their voice in daily production meetings. Manage the order book entering, maintaining, and rescheduling orders in our MRP system. Lead reviews with customers and internal teams to ensure delivery commitments are achieved. Handle RFQs and quotations, ensuring all agreements are valid and compliant. Collaborate across departments to resolve invoice queries, capacity constraints, and delivery issues. Drive performance by monitoring on time delivery and providing feedback on failures.What We're Looking For Strong organisational skills and business acumen. Excellent communication, calm under pressure and customer focused. IT literate (Excel/Google Docs) experience with MRP systems is a plus. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
