The Role
As the Quality Manager, you will take ownership of the company’s ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System (QMS), lead internal audits, and work closely with key departments to embed a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and develop the ISO 9001 QMS
Lead internal audits and project quality inspections
Drive best practices in quality across the organisation
Investigate non-conformances and complaints; lead root cause analysis
Evaluate and monitor suppliers in line with quality standards
Oversee compliance with legislation and support implementation of additional standards (ISO 13485, 14001, 45001)
Report on corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
Essential:
Proven experience in a Quality Management role within manufacturing or engineering
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and internal auditing
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to influence and collaborate across departments
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality improvement
Desirable:
Exposure to ISO 13485, 14001, or 45001
Relevant certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, COSHH, QMS internal auditing)
Background in high-precision or multidisciplinary technology environments
