We’re recruiting on behalf of our client a well-established, busy café-restaurant located in the stunning Norfolk Broads for an experienced and motivated Senior Sous Chef to join their friendly kitchen team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented chef looking to take the next step in their career within a professional yet relaxed environment. The restaurant serves fresh, locally sourced dishes to a loyal local following and visitors throughout the year.
You’ll enjoy mainly daytime hours, with one evening shift per week during the winter months at the company’s nearby sister venue.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen.
* Lead and motivate the team to deliver consistently high-quality food.
* Oversee food preparation, service, and presentation standards.
* Assist with menu development and implementation of seasonal specials.
* Maintain strict food hygiene and safety procedures.
* Train and develop junior members of the team.

* £35,000 annual salary
* £2,000 guaranteed tips per year
* Two consecutive days off each week
* One in four weekends off

About You
* Proven experience as a Sous or Senior Sous Chef in a quality café or restaurant.
* A passion for fresh, seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
