Join the dynamic Oldham Lifelong Learning Service and play a key role in shaping inclusive, high-quality learning experiences for adults across the community. In this impactful role, you'll identify barriers to learning and engagement, assess local needs, and support the development of a curriculum that reflects the diversity of Oldham. This is a rewarding role where you will work closely with community partners to promote adult education pathways and actively engage residents in lifelong learning opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to establish clear progression routes onto tailored and vocational programmes for Oldham residents.
2. Actively recruit learners within the community, focusing on unengaged learners and hard-to-reach groups, to participate and progress into learning opportunities within the curriculum.
3. Work with community groups, schools, partners, and voluntary, community, and faith sectors (VCFS) to encourage and support families and targeted groups to engage in learning activities.
4. Coordinate, participate in, and promote learning events that align with local and national adult learning initiatives.
5. Analyze and interpret data, presenting it effectively to various audiences to target specific demographics, plan, market, and track engagement and progression.
6. Build successful partnerships through community engagement, utilizing excellent communication and interpersonal skills to confidently engage, advise, and support a wide range of stakeholders.
7. Plan and promote community engagement events with strong organizational skills.
