Children And Young Persons Recovery Coordinator Location: Plummer Court, Newcastle, NE1 6UR Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm 37 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £25,867 - £32,090 Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. About the Role Manage a service user caseload of children and young adults, reviewing on-going care and treatment (including clinical treatment for young adults), liaising closely with the full range of workers and skills within the multi-agency team. As a Children and Young Peoples Recovery Coordinator you will work with children and young adults reducing the harm of substance use to the individual, family and wider community. Newcastle Treatment and Recovery (NTaR) is an all-age community drug and alcohol service supporting local people, families and communities across Newcastle. NTaR is a collaborative service partnership led by CNTW NHS Foundation Trust with Waythrough and Changing Lives. What You’ll Do Be part of the NTAR team supporting children, young adults and families to move forward in their journey by ensuring service interventions are delivered in accordance with NICE guidelines and best practice guidance. Provide holistic support to children and young adults including the effective delivery of key service activities such as assessments, support plans, PSI delivery and structured interventions. To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need: Understanding of and ability to implement interventions, including brief interventions MI, PSIs, CBT and ITEP. Knowledge of harm reduction approaches in relation to substance misuse Carrying out assessment and recovery planning and risk management plans What We Offer We value the people who make a difference every day.
