School Administrator - Secondary School (Long-Term Cover) Location: OldhamStart Date: ASAPHours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00-16:00Contract: Long-term coverAgency VacancyAbout the RoleI am currently recruiting for an experienced and confident School Administrator to join a busy secondary school in Oldham. This is a long-term cover position, starting as soon as possible, and requires someone who can quickly adapt to a fast-paced school office environment.The successful candidate will support the school with a range of administrative and front-of-house duties, including attendance administration, visitor management and general office tasks.Key Responsibilities
* Answering incoming calls and managing general enquiries
* Greeting and signing in visitors, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
* Providing day-to-day administrative support to staff and senior leaders
* Managing attendance administration, including data entry and follow-up
* Maintaining accurate pupil records and updating school systems
* Supporting the smooth running of the school office with general admin tasks
Requirements
* Previous administration experience (school experience preferred but not essential)
* Familiarity with Bromcom is highly desirable, or the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail
* Confident in using IT systems and working in a busy environment
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow safeguarding procedures
